Making Decisions

I mean, I can make decisions easily. I leave it to my gut feeling and then this feeling comes: “It will be fine.” I consider myself very lucky, because my optimism is often accompanied by a certain naivety.
But what if it isn’t that simple?
Yes, those are the things I like to ignore, that I like to put on the back burner. In the hope that they will take care of themselves. But that only works to a certain extent. And then it’s there, that old feeling of “I can’t do this” or “I won’t make it” … I would be lying if I claimed that I was already over that.
I have learned something through several things where I thought to myself, “I can’t do this.”
I can do this!
In those moments, I simply have to tell myself: “I can do this!”
I just have to take one step at a time and not listen to that ugly old voice. Focus on the goal and start moving toward it. Don’t look for alternatives. Stick with the one thing.
Do I do this alone?
No! I take others into my confidence who can help me remain in this state of confidence so that I “keep going anyway.” I couldn’t do it on my own. I had to work for the courage to stay on track. But it built up, and I am very optimistic that it is here to stay—THE COURAGE.
