All our experiences—professional, personal, and those from professionally guided self-exploration—brought us to exactly the point where we decided to go out with what we have.
Let us break down "what we have": We are a couple that has always been very creative. We seize every opportunity to learn something new and make something of it in our lives. And we are passionate "forward-lookers"—this is what we call our vision work.
Life Art
We both consider ourselves blessed; many things have come to us naturally. Matters that others had to work much harder at came and continue to come easily to us. Even in times of financial constraint, great optimism has allowed us to look forward. A confidence that everything will work out has always been formative.
Something was placed in our cradle. Our shamanic teacher (Udo Vukovics) drew our attention to recognizing this as an ability and called us "life artists."
Gradually, we recognized how we could also pass on this lightheartedness and this forward-looking perspective, and it has naturally flowed into our interactions with our clients.
But now we have gone a step further and developed a workshop format from it. It consists of many small exercises that we ourselves were able to learn and that we continue to apply for ourselves. We designed the workshop to share this treasure of knowledge and to make a piece of life art accessible to everyone.
Vision Work
From an early age, we have been accompanied by a way of discovering ourselves but also seeing ourselves elsewhere. And this "seeing ourselves elsewhere" has repeatedly brought us to the beginning of a new stage of our lives. This often went hand in hand with a kind of "reinventing oneself." In this way, we have continually rediscovered our own life vision.
As a consequence, there were remarkable turns in career choices as well as spontaneous changes in life circumstances when goals shifted. And because we are lucky ones, these new directions always brought positive impulses.
We do not try to weigh the next steps for ourselves with a "pros and cons" list. We let it flow, and the image or the feeling comes that provides us with a foundation for our decisions.
To some extent, we all master this kind of vision-finding; we could at least do so when we were still children. But we can still do it today if we step out of our roles and allow ourselves the freedom to think about our future without restrictions. This is a refreshing process that we are happy to facilitate and that is part of our workshops.
We gladly make available our ability to resonate with a person's vision, thus helping the person discover their vision for themselves, and it is one of the foundations that led to the establishment of Art Life Vision.
Creativity
We are both creative and flexible types. The expression of our creativity is very different, yet much overlaps. We paint, draw, make music, dance, develop problem solutions, and exchange ideas intensively.
Creativity is a constant companion, a useful tool To solve challenges, to find an expression that goes beyond words, actions, and thoughts. Creativity is a wonderful fuel for facing a new challenge.
One of our pillars is "graphic design" and "web design." For many years, we have operated "GrafikWien." We accompany our clients in bringing their vision to life, whether in the form of logo or corporate design development, or in designing their website. To do this optimally, developing our clients' entrepreneurial vision has always been the starting point.
Our website projects have encompassed everything from simple digital business cards to more complex implementations of webshops, membership websites, or video portals. We truly enjoy getting involved and are always part of the whole.
Beyond this, however, we would like to expand our field of activity with our creativity in the coming years.
About Us
As different as we—David and Marie-Luise Bolius—are, we have discovered many similarities on our shared path.
In addition to our children and our company, we are connected by open-mindedness, curiosity, flexibility, enthusiasm, and innovative spirit. With great joy, we are able to discover these and other qualities in our children and support them in their implementation.
Just as it thrills us to observe this in our close circle, we love uncovering and fostering these qualities in people who come to us. Often this goes hand in hand with the ability that our clients have not yet seen these themselves, and we simply point out the obvious.
Workshops
Supporting people in valuing their uniqueness and trusting that this is precisely the source of their power is incredibly beautiful. Therefore, we have compiled workshop modules to provide open-minded people with tools to give themselves an "upgrade." We see ourselves as versions of ourselves whose facets need and want refinement. We stay committed to our own development.
We assume that our workshop participants have the same need to discover their facets and continue to refine them.
We—David and Marie-Luise—for ourselves, see working on ourselves as the key to our self and to our future. Both are not rigid and fixed, but rather form and are in flux.
